RE-Tech offers a wide range of products tailored for renewable energy needs. The products are designed and tested to perform in the harsh conditions of the North. We have included in our range products suitable for Solar PV and BESS projects as well as for substations in wind and solar power projects. The products for this sector include those from Japanese-Indian Toshiba TTDI, Serbian KKM Power, Spanish Lifasa, and Chinese Chint. Solar

RE-Tech offers a range of STEP UP transformers tailored for the Nordic markets, available in sizes from 2 to 8 MVA, primarily at voltages of 20.5 kV and 33 kV. These transformers are designed with a focus on the significant load variations typical in production environments. For example, larger units above 3 MVA incorporate a radiator design commonly used in main transformers, ensuring they can withstand substantial temperature fluctuations. The installation of Solar transformers is seamlessly achievable, whether it be outdoors on SKIDs or indoors in substations. Beyond standard designs, we also offer bespoke solutions to meet specific requirements. All our transformers comply with Tier 2 standards.

In addition to transformers, RE-Tech’s Solar range includes substation solutions. The primary focus in designing these has been on health, safety, and environmental (HSE) aspects and suitability for various installation sites. RE-Tech has opted for a solution that can be placed in the middle of a solar power park without fences. The substation is customizable to meet the needs of different parks, with a maximum transformer size of 8 MVA and up to 20 medium-voltage (MV) outputs (400A), featuring ABB medium-voltage switchgear or simply a space reservation for it.

RE-Tech, in collaboration with Toshiba, has developed a range of transformers suitable for use in the Nordic countries. These transformers meet the requirements of network companies and Fingrid (Finnish Transmission System Operator) as well as other EU and Finnish regulations. The transformers are designed to be low-loss and highly reliable. They are intended for installation in either 33 or 20.5 kV networks and are primarily three-winding transformers.

RE-Tech serves as the official representative in Finland for Spanish company Lifasa S.A., specializing in supplying MV compensation batteries to wind farms. We have a proven track record of deliveries to various project developers and park owners, with 7 battery units delivered between 2022 and 2023.

Electric vehicle fast-charging stations

Electric vehicle fast-charging stations provide a quick charging option for EV drivers. Ongoing technological advancements continually enhance the efficiency and compatibility of these charging stations with various electric vehicles. RE-Tech supplies the necessary transformers for electric vehicle charging stations.
